A 6.2 km hike from the foothills of Gerakonas to Korthi Bay, crossing the picturesque villages of Exo Vouni and Mesa Vouni, through Gianiseo and Rogo.
Hike Meeting Time: 9:45 a.m.
Meeting point: Ormos Korthi – the roundabout at the entrance of the town
From the meeting point, coach transport takes us to the village of Exo Vouni where the hike begins. Leaving this picturesque setting, we will head towards Mesa Vouni with its beautiful springs, ravines and shady woods to reach Gianiseo, a village with stunning rooftops and magnificent views of the eastern coastline. We descend to the lovely settlement of Lardia with its tidy houses, through Rogo and then down to the Korthi river with its arched bridge, and finally the picturesque Korthi Bay.
The Women’s Association of Korthi is hosting lunch and a bazaar of their local products.
