A 6 km from Chora through the scenic hamlets of Ypsilos, Lamira, Mesa Vourio and Menites. Appetizers and a hog roast at the Menites Association community centre.

Meeting time: 9.45 am – Meeting point: Chora, Vogiatzidis building
The hike starts from the capital of Andros, Chora, then heads for the Lourio river ascending to the picturesque Ypsilos village. It follows a section of the route along beautiful lanes through Lamira and Mesa Vouni, past neat houses with lovely gardens and springs. Then we walk along a wooded section with splendid views towards the valleys of Messaria and Menites. The hike ends in the lush settlement of the Menites with the famous springs.
At the end of the hike we share in the celebratory hog roast with traditional foods, hosted by the Menites Association.
