DESCRIPTION:9 October 2019		\n\n					\n				 @ 			\n			\n				8:00 am			\n		\n									\n					 – 				\n			\n							\n					5:00 pm				\n			\n						 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Μια όμορφη πεζοπορία 6\,4km που περνά από παλαιούς νερόμυλους και το μεσημέρι τοπική κουζίνα και προϊόντα της βορείου Άνδρου από την τοπική κοινότητα Μακροταντάλου  \n\n\n\nΜεταφερόμαστε με πούλμαν στον ορεινό οικισμό του Αμολόχου στη Βόρεια Άνδρου\, βίγλα του Κάβο Ντόρο. Η πεζοπορία μας ξεκινά κατηφορίζοντας τη κατάφυτη κοιλάδα περνώντας από τις διάσπαρτες ενορίες του Αμόλοχου με τα παλαιά πέτρινα οικήματα και τα λιόνδεδρα. Φτάνουμε στην υπέροχη κοίτη του ποταμού των Φρουσαίων και συνεχίζουμε παράλληλα με τη ρεματιά. Περνάμε από τα εντυπωσιακά ερείπια νερόμυλων που συνδέονται με αλυσιδωτό σύστημα ύδρευσης\, το παλαιό μυλοχώρι των Φρουσαίων\, κινούμενοι ανάμεσα σε οργιαστική βλάστηση και μικρούς καταρράκτες. Η πεζοπορία μας καταλήγει στο ξωκλήσι της Αγίας Ειρήνης Χρυσοβαλάντου.  \n\n\n\n Γεύμα με τοπικά προϊόντα της περιοχής ξεκινά περίπου στις 15.00′  \n\n\n\nΣτο τέλος της πεζοπορίας μεταφερόμαστε με πούλμαν στο γεύμα με τα γευστικά προϊόντα της περιοχής & το παζάρι παραδοσιακών προϊόντων τους παραγωγούς του Μακροταντάλου ! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nΠεζοπορία :  Αμόλοχος Φρουσαίοι\,  \n\n\n\nΑπόσταση : 6\,4km\, Βαθμός δυσκολίας : μεσαία-δύσκολη \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nΠροτεινόμενη διαμονή τη προηγούμενη βραδιά : περιοχή Γαυρίου \n\n\n\nΠροτεινόμενη διαμονή την ίδια βραδιά : περιοχή Γαυρίου  \n\n\n\nΔείτε τα καταλύματα που προσφέρουν ειδικές τιμές για τα μέλη του Φεστιβάλ !  \n\n\n\nΔείτε τα καταλύματα & εστιατόρια που στηρίζουν τη φροντίδα των μονοπατιών και... προτιμήστε τα !  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nΏρα & σημείο συνάντησης για μετάβαση στην έναρξη της πεζοπορίας :  \n\n\n\n10.15 πμ.- Λιμάνι Γαυρίου\, φούρνοι \n\n\n\n\n\nΏρες – σημείο αναχώρησης επιστροφής: \n\n\n\n 5.00 μμ. SUMMARY:SATURDAY 5 OCTOBER 2019 – 6.4KM – AMOLOCHOS THROUGH THE WATERMILLS OF FROUSEI TO MAKROTANTALO – LUNCH OF LOCAL PRODUCE
DESCRIPTION:9 October 2019		\n\n					\n				 @ 			\n			\n				8:00 am			\n		\n									\n					 – 				\n			\n							\n					5:00 pm				\n			\n						 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA beautiful 6km hike through a valley of ruined watermills followed by a lunch local cuisine and local produce from northern Andros provided by the local community of Makrotantalo.  \n\n\n\nFrom the meeting point\,\nwe will travel by coach to the mountain village of Amolochos in Northern\nAndros.  The hike begins by descending the overgrown valley through the\nscattered settlements of Amolochos with old stone houses and olive trees. At\nthe end of the descent\, we arrive at the beautiful riverbed of the Frousei\nRiver and continue alongside the river passing impressive ruined watermills\nwhich took their power from a channelled water system. The hike passes through\na variety of stunning river landscapes and a number of small waterfalls.
