A 7.1 km hike from the foot of the Rachi mountain range and the picturesque settlement of Aidonia, through the villages of Korthi, Ammonakliou, Nionas and Piso Meria, ending at the Tromarchia Monastery.

From the meeting point there is coach transport to the picturesque settlement of Aidonia with its impressive tower houses. Our walk starts at the spring – the only spring with marble washing stones. We will pass through successive splendid villages of Korthi, Ammonakliou, Niona and Piso Meria, with springs, churches and verdant areas, and elaborate dry-stone walls. Walking towards the Monastery of Tromarchia, the rural landscape is impressive, as are the views towards Ormos Korthi. Our hike ends at the magnificent Tromarchia Monastery Tromarchia nestled on the steep hillside offering magnificent views of the western coastline and the rugged landscape.
At the end of the hike in the monastery courtyard, local residents will welcome hikers with refreshments of local produce.
